The Hub has a very convenient location and I love the amenities that are available to residents! I also love how clean the area is and the atmosphere!
Overall it is a good experience! The walls are pretty thin so it can get loud at times. The maintenance team and the leasing office are very nice and helpful. The hot tub is a great perk! The apartment itself is nice but sometimes furniture/fixings seem cheap.
I love everything about living here! I got stuck with a tiny room on a lower floor, which is unfortunate because 1) barely walking space and 2) the light rail gets extremely loud at night when I’m trying to sleep. But the amenities such as coffee machine, fitness room, and hot tub are my favorites! It’s also located in a great spot-close to many restaurants, coffee shops, light rail stop, and campus!
positive: friendly and inclusive environment, safe place with front desk security at night, clean and modern rooms, LOCATION
negative: management/staff can be unorganized and needs to improve on communicating with residents, minimal quiet study space, expensive
The aesthetic is honestly the main reason why I absolutely love the Hub. I love the modern/urban vibe. The units' furniture and layout is also very nice, and the amenities are wonderful. I'm staying for another year because of the amazing location and great management.
We've had some trouble with maintenance among other things and it is disappointing how often the amenities are not working. Besides that the rest of the staff is very nice as is the living space and gym.
love it here so much! the amenities are amazing and we use them so much! love the apartment we haven’t had any issues with anything it’s been great!
Went through some stuff and the staff was incredibly helpful with sorting out the issue. The apartment they offer are also in very nice condition and seem to be properly maintained.
The apartment is nice but the maintenance staff have been very confrontational every time we ask for service on our apartment. The location is nice as well
I love living at the HUB due to its location and staff! Everyone here is so friendly and welcoming and makes leaving here that much more enjoyable!
The apartment is good, new, and has a great location which is at the center of the U and the east bank station is nearby. However, the efficiency of the packaging system is pretty low, hopefully the hub office could improve it quickly.
Overall I like the activities and the distance it is to campus. However, the apt do make it a little mess appealing. The ceilings and undone walls make it like your're loving in a comcrete box and the heat vent to the living room is fake so it doesnt heat the whole apt well.the community is great but the apt is just not worth the money
Great amenities, great location. However, could be better staffed. Management could do a better job of claiming responsibility for packages.
I love the location, amenities, and my apartment itself. I have a studio and the Murphy bed is the best! My only complaint would be that sometimes the amenities don’t work.
it is so convenient apartment! very close to rail station and grocery mart (e.g. CVS and Wallgreens). The best thing is the location near the school.
Great amenities, location, and units, but neighbors can be loud at times, but I haven't had much of an issue for . awhile, so I am very pleased.
Overall, this is a very nice place to live. They have great amenities. However, some people leave rooms trashy. Undergrads pick up after yourself. Your mom isn’t here to cleanup for you anymore.
The community is so nice around the building. There is a lot to do and many places to eat. It’s also really close to campus and has easy access to the train.
great location for work, near food and rails, many activities, good tv channels, amazing view
tedious package system, i hate the door that are way too easy to be closed so i have to pay for unlock, many restrictions that feel like too much pressure
I enjoy the coffee and all of the outdoor and indoor amenities, it is also very conveniently located to the UMN which is a big reason I like it.
Good location and amenities but there’s room to improve in staff, maintenance and aircon/heating for sure. The rooms are spacious but there are a lot of heating and cooling issues for certain bedrooms and units that should be looked into.
Very nice community that provides a lot of good amenities and rewards for living here. People seem to be very quiet. Maintenance always responds on time
I love the atmosphere surrounding the Hub! It is so convenient being in stadium village right next to the light rail. I really enjoy taking advantage of the study rooms right. I also don’t have a laptop so it is very helpful for me to have access to the business center with the free computers and printing. The best part about living here is at the end of a tiring day, I can relax in the hottub for an hour while admiring the gorgeous view of the city!
The events held at the hub have really spiced up this year. I have enjoyed most of them and who can say no to free food? I think there are still room for improvement in terms of maintenance response, the mailing/package room system and noise control.
Been pretty fantastic this second year, maintenance has been consistent and responsive, outages of any sort are short and few (if any) and has been overall much smoother than the year before. only complaints come from the elevators seeming unusually busy and the garbage chute being regularly clogged. Otherwise, very good stuff.
The unit is smaller than what I saw before moved in here. Everything is fine to me but except apartment management. What do I like here? The view, interior, location and fully furnished.
Everything else is awesome besides the package issue. Most residents are suffering package stealing. I think the office also need to be more efficient in terms of responding the email and anything that is related to living.
Everything has been going well, there have only been a few things that have been noticeably disappointing. Suck that all of the sudden our Tv doesnt have any channels.
I like living here however, the noise on the pool deck can be a bit loud sometimes. I also think it’s one of the best locations you can live at on campus.
The Hub has a good location and great amenities. Service requests are quickly finished. The rent is on the higher side though. The walls of the room are thin so you can hear others talking in neighboring rooms or in the hallway.
I like living here. However, there are some issues regarding customer service and utilities that I’m not super happy about. I feel like it would be super helpful if the staffs pay more attention to residents’ concerns.
Staff addresses needs in a timely manner. I have never had any problem getting my requests tended to. Location is perfect, as the Hub provides the ideal location right in the heart of campus and directly next to East Bank Station.
I have enjoyed living at the Hub so far! The staff are helpful. The amenities and location are great! Do wish the study rooms were more soundproof. Otherwise, can't complain!
i love the apartment community so much! all of the staff and resident here are so nice. the location is amazing and the amenities are so nice and make it so easy to meet people!
This is a really nice apartment with plenty of amenities, some of which feel unnecessary. The staff is very helpful to residents with questions about payments, events, maintenance, etc. I feel safe in the area and in the apartment. Overall, a good experience.
I love the amenities and the promptness of the staff at the leasing office! Additionally, I’ve had no noise complaints while living here - the walls are thick!
It's great location. Wish the rooms were all similar so less roommates would fight. A little pricey but great aminities and staff . Lift service is annoying. Maybe there should be a dedicated lift for upper flows only
Everything seemed super nice at first, but the more and more details that I look at things seem to be holding together with no quality materials. I cannot even get a stable connection to the internet and most of my homework is online. I feel as if there is a few things that can be done to enhance quality of life for everyone here.
It’s always great to be in a community with a lot of cute dogs!!! They’re all super cute and friendly and precious and good-mannered and awesome. Love them.
I love living at the Hub because of the location, views, amenities, and benefits it has for me. From study rooms to the hottub to the gym, it has everything I need and want from an apartment complex.
The location is great. I really like how close the area is to most of my classes. I also really enjoy the amenities that are given to residents. The hot tub and lounge are my favorites.
Overall, based on location, this is a nice place to live. It’s nice because you can roll out of bed at 0755 and still be on time for your rotation that starts at 0800
Overall it's good, especially the location is perfect. The furniture is new and comprehensive. However, the ceiling without any wall paint makes the room dark and ugly. The sound insulation is back.
hmmm, location is good but other then that I am not sure price is decent. I think their facility management could be better for residents.....
Byung Hun L.
Apartment is nice. The temperpedic bed is super great. The furnishings are good quality and fits in with the room. Plenty of storage space in the place.
So far the Hub has been a great place to live. It is very close to my classes and the light rail is right across the street so it is easy to get to the places I need without going too far. I love all the amenities, especially the hot tub and pool access and the workout room is a great place to go and sweat without being crowded in a small space.
It's a great place in all but after moving in I learned that this location offered falsified advertisements. Touring a floor plan that was studio but included and island and such but later learning that islands do not come in studio or 1 bedrooms can as a shocker. Many thing did once moving in. What we expected for what we pay for, does not amount to how much we pay monthly. Overpriced for "luxury" apartments. The onky think luxury is the 7th floor.
Great experience overall. Nice view and great hot tub. The residents are mostly students so the vibes' good. The only thing that's not good enough are the mail/package system.
Hub's amenity and the location are the best of best. I am majoring engineering, so I could go to my class within 10 minutes. This is perfect for me because I can sleep more or study in our club room!
HUB LOCATION IS THE BEST !! It’s near the campus and the room is so cozy. The only two thing I have to complain is about the elevator. Look like the elevator is not enough for resident specially in rush hour.
I have been really happy here. The location is so close campus which has been wonderful. The apartment is updated, the high ceilings make it feel more spacious, and the huge windows bring in a lot of light. The only down side is the maintenance staff doesn't respond quickly to any issues so far that I've had. And that there are a lot of undergrads living here so the weekends can get a little loud for my taste, but I don't expect much different living this close to campus.
I enjoy the community here. Activites put on by staff are very fun. I wish I could rent out an amenity space for events and I wish amenity spaces were kept cleaner.
Great location and room amenities. However, poor staffing, move-in day experience, slow elevators, Hub's irresponsibility on lost packages, and lack of CA's/rounds make this a tough recommend to others.
The most important thing that needs to be improved is the internet. otherwise, the maintenance is so slow. I asked the maintenance to repair the light in bedroom for us but for several days, he has not come yet.
Really, overall, it's not wonderful.
A lot of information is never really communicated or, if it is, communicated well. A lot of independent issues for which I don't expect the apartment to be responsible, but were not or are not done properly.
There's a lot worse places you could be increasing debt in. Is this 140 characters yet? Is this 140 characters yet? Is this 140 characters yet?
There was one night having the party with loud music by the pool until 3:30 am! Fans in the bathroom are so loud and cannot be turned off. If package room can send email or message to us as our packages arrive, I appreciate for it.
The staff here are amazing! They are always so willing to help and answer questions. Love the community, the amenities, and living at the HUB!
It's been great, the leasing office staff is so nice and the apartment was clean and orderly when I moved in. The move in process was fairly painless.
so far, my experience has been very good!! I love the amenities that come with the apartment as well as the location! Everyone here is so friendly too!
Hub Minneapolis is by far the best apartment on campus! Lobby, hallways, club rooms, amenity rooms, and even the elevators and packaging room are always clean. Amazing amenities and staff :)
The hub is nice place with a ton of amazing amenities, however a new resident should not be responsible for the last tenants damage and should be receiving the same furniture I was shown and not some knock off for temporary usage.
The location is very convenient and I like the proximity to the light rail station. The staff are always kind and respond right away to any questions I might have
The location is very nice, as are the amenities offered. The units are suitable for college students who aren't often home, although paying to not be home isn't a great idea. I don't think this is somewhere I want to spend my time, just really a place to sleep.
My neighbors are loud and the walls are thin, but Overall im satisfied with my bedroom and the amenities. Although it would be nice if the pool was open later, After a long night of studying hitting the hot tub would be a blessing.
All of the facilities so far have been great. The only complaint I would have is the cleaning and maintenance of the communal areas is not always stellar or regular.
I love living at the Hub, my studio is the perfect size :) there is always something going on near by and the views are amazing from any part of the building.
it is great experiment living in hub Minneapolis. The community is sweet and kind. They get new equipment for residents‘ life and entertainments. My friends are willing to move forwardhere in the future.
Not so great... the student staffs seem very unwilling to help residents and are not trained to help residents in many ways. I have to mostly wait to talk to supervisor even though it is a simple question
Very good place to live. Nice amenities and excellent location. Very close to the university, restaurants, and shops. I would recommend it to everyone!
This is a great place with great view and service.
After a year, now they know how to manage the building with many good social activity to know the neighbors
My neighbors are cigarette smokers even though in the renter's contract it states that this is a smoke free building and smoking is not allowed or tolerated... The entire hallway on our floor smells all the time. My roommate and I have reported this to the hub many times via phone and email but no resolution has been reached. This is not okay. Something needs to be done.
Great location and service. Sometimes the train and neighbors can be annoying late at night. Otherwise the place is awesome. Definitely the location was the reason I chose this place.
I have lived in the hub Minneapolis over 1 year as the first resident here. I am really satisfied with the apartment location! Besides, the amenities and view are so amazing.
So far, I’ve really enjoyed my experience at the Hub. The units are really nice and the common areas are beautiful, but some things around the building were clearing built in a rush.
Great location with nice, cozy apartments. A few things could be improved (e.g. adding ventilation to the kitchen above the stove), but overall a good experience.
Small counter space makes it difficult to cook. People are standoffish. Leasing office consistently doesn't give whole answers (gives the minimum amount of info to qualify as an answer).
So far I love my apartment, going to check out the amnetities later today! Very excited! The staff has been very helpful although i have some concerns with the packaging system.
Everything in the apartment was so new and clean it is a very nice place to live. The maintenance and office people are also very helpful and respectful whenever you need them!
So far, living here has been a mixed bag. Move-in was a nightmare, since the elevator wait was 20+ minutes each time you wanted to use it. There was a wifi outage right away, which was annoying. Additionally, the layout of the rooms is ridiculous. I don't really understand how one room can be significantly bigger than the others, while one is significantly smaller, or how one room can lack a window yet all residents pay the same amount of money for rent. So far, seems like the only great thing about The Hub is the location.
I’ve found my room to be great, however there have been some things happening in the apartment that have not been great. One was the very short notice about moving my car out of the garage when it was power washed. I was not alerted that this was happening until I was already in class the day of and I was left a message saying that my car would be towed if I did not move it immediately. Luckily, being close to here I was able to leave and move my car, but this was extremely frustrating as I could have made plans to have my car in a different place rather than scrambling at the last minute and missing classes and other obligations. Besides this there have been some minor inconveniences that all in all are not a big deal, but have been disappointing as a resident, such as moving everything out from under my bed when all that had to be done was to put the wooden bed frame under the mattress. I hope that things like this can be avoided in the future by proactive communication ahead of time.
Garbage disposal, microwave, ventilator are not-working... Open orders were submitted but no one comes to check...Garbage disposal, microwave, ventilator are not-working... Open orders were submitted but no one comes to check...
The sharing room for 2 people is smaller than I thought. It is smaller than Comstock one, and a lit bit disappointed me. The fan keeps working for whole night and daytime, bothering and making noises. We were hesitated to drink tape water and finally just bought a filter.
Pricey but clean and well maintained. Convenient location close to campus and restaurants nearby. Friendly staff, but management is very particular about parking.
its been great so far. The location is perfect for me. It is clear that the staff know exactly what they are doing and are a big help. My room is nice.
I haven't really experienced much of The Hub quite yet but am excited to set off on my own adventure in a big city. I'm hoping that things go well and everything works out, super excited about the 24 hour gym.
Great living experience. The amenities are very nice. The 24Hr gym is great. in addition, the apartment offers great views. furthermore, It’s a great perk that the apartment already comes fully furnished!
Services need to Ben improved and in-unit shelf need Moreno especially for small unit. For some small things, it’s better to be prepared for residents, such as shower curtain. Overall, it’s ok.
great spot to live close to campus with a lot of great amenities included in the price of rent. very easy online portal used as well that is nicely linked up to utilities and insurance options
Location is great--very close to the University! It is right next to the train which makes getting around that much easier. Included amenities are very nice and very appreciated.

Thus far I have had nothing but great and helpful service! It’s a beautiful building that has obviously payed great attention to detail and has a great staff to back this up.
Great place to live for grad students or young professional in the UofM area. Convenient location to food places and metro. There's some work to do on maintenaning the building clean but it's by far the best off campus housing in the area
It was alright. Decent amenities and the windows were great, but also ran into some problems with appliances and leaks. Walks were thin and building generally seemed hastily built.
I love living at the Hub because the amenities are great and it's in a prime location. The staff are all really helpful and it's always nice to come home to the Hub.
Excellent amenities! The sauna doesn’t work or takes a long time to start. The jacuzzi and pool area could remain open for a longer time. Great location
The hub Minneapolis is a great on campus property offer excellent living experience to their residents. The location is perfect especially to UMN students
Great place to live with active community. New buildings with new amnieties and lots to do. Central location on campus gives it an edge over other similar ones
Everyone has been extremely helpful! Any questions that I had were answered and the process for signing the lease and steps following were very straightforward.
Favorite place to live!!! Love the building/amenities and the atmosphere! Love the modern feel of the building and the fact that we have a pool!
I haven’t moved in yet but so far my experience has been amazing with leasing an apartment and everything else I have asked questions to. I can’t wait to move in!
Excellent commodities. The TVs can’t be programmed or channels can’t be changed. Everything else is neat. More information in terms of payments and penalties is needed to avoid misunderstandings.
Love all the amenities! It is so convenient that the Hub has a well equipped workout center, beautiful pool and hot tub, as well as aesthetically pleasing study areas without even stepping outside!
My experience at the Hub was great! I enjoyed the amenities, people, and design of the apartment. I would recommend this building to others. My only critique is that it is overpriced.
Great location and amenities! All of my classes are within 10 minutes walking, the gym has a sauna, yoga room and everything you need or the Recwell is only a few steps away!
The package room can be improved. The coffee machine seems be down at least once every two weeks. The beds are nice. The amenities are nice too.
great communication and explanation. They took their time to find us the best floor plan fit and recommended us things that would work for us.
Great amenities and distance to campus classes. The parking is s little pricey since rent is already a little more pricey but over all it is reall nice. The walla in the bedroom though, need a makeover it feels cold looking at them.
I thought that it was the nicest apartment around the campus. The location is great and the staff are really friendly. The amenities around the apartment are extremely nice as well.
It’s a very nice and comfortable experience. The room is warm , I like it very much, particularly the window. If I could , I would like to live here next semester.
The Hub is great at social media and getting new residence excited to live there! I’ve had nothing but great and helpful experiences with the staff. My only complaints would be that it’s a bit expensive for a lot of people and I’m moving in in August and still don’t know who I’m living with because room and roommate information hasn’t been released. It’s a bit stressful to not know when move in is only a month away.
Living at the Hub was a great experience for everyone involved. We had nice rooms with sharp edges and corners with comfortable mattress in the rooms
I really like living at hub. Everything is brand new and I love the industrial feel that the apartment has. Also the amenities are top notch.
Hub is a good place to live. Specifically for student, it is very convenient to go to classrooms. And the officer are good, to help me solve problems in time.
It’s simply great. Super nice apartment and an excellent location on campus. Rooms are modern and brand new. Easily the best possible apartments for Minnesota students.
I was great living here. The neighbourhood, amenities and location are perfect. Great for students going to U of M. If I am back in Minneapolis again, I will sure live here.
Balaji Harshadeep G.
It’s been a really good experience at the Hub. The location can’t be beat and I love the tempurpedic mattress. The amenities are also great.
Great accommodations in this great living area. Really like the hot tub and pool. Want to know who my roommate is before August though. Looking forward to the rest of the year.
The hub has an ample amount of ammenities compared to any other living complex on campus. Great location very close to classes and great food variety. The best place to live!
People are polite, easy to talk to and always willing to help. It's good to see the variety of work that people do around here, so I don't feel like I'm living on a college campus.
Obinna Ikechukwu I.
I haven’t started living there yet, but I am excited to start this new journey in a couple months when I finally move in. I hope things go eell
This is my first year living in the Hub. My experience has been very positive so far. I’m very excited to see how this next year goes and hopefully will be living there again.
The location is really good since it’s close to classes as well as close to restaurants. The gym and pool are really convenient and an overall great experience
Overall good experience and wonderful amenities. Poor planning when it came to unit inspections. They had said it was within a set amount of time and now come to find out it’s happening again because they didn’t look at all of the units. Frustrating simply because I would like to be there while other people are in my space but trying to get 5 days of time free to be around is nearly impossible with work etc.
Great apartment complex and amenities. The pool and gym are exceptionally clean and nice to use. Pricing is a bit high, but expected when living in a place of this caliber.
I haven't started living at the hub yet but it's going to be convenient getting to class as it only takes 2 minutes to get to class now, especially during the harsh winters.
The location is perfect. I am close by to everything I could need including grocery stores and restaurants but also class and bus stops. There is so much to do in the area and the building is gorgeous.
I definitely thing that the location of The Hub apartment is ideal for any University of Minnesota student. It is close to campus and provides access to other convenient locations.
I have not started living in the apartment but the leasing department has been very receptive towards all my questions. I look forward to living there
great overall experience. the amenities are always fun to use and the city has a great array of places to visit. rooms are also very nice and clean
I like the location and overall experience. The bed mattress is comfy and view at sunset is absolutely stunning. Points to improve, gym may need more equipment or weight bar, coffee machine should have daily check? The maintenance never show up as promised...
I love my apartment and it’s amenities, but the rent is pretty high in comparison to other places. I do see that it’s worth it. Parking fees are ridiculously high though, and I’d hope they lower that in the future.
Needs to be better respected. There had been vomit in the elevators and broken beer bottles. The 26th floor, the fire place is broken. People need to respect things more
Love the ammenaties and atmosphere at the Hub. Very clean and tidy lounge spaces that are inviting and enjoyable. Also, nice interrior design and decorations.
Very good all around, especially being as this apartment has only been here a year thus far. The only big complaint I have is the inconsistency of maintenance requests. It will often be a month and a half before someone comes in to remedy whatever issue we have.
The community is great! The Hub is located in a great spot that is easily accessible to many things. I do think there is room for improvement but it’s been a great experience.
All in all considering prime location to light rail and that the unit is furnished id say this is pretty good. Parking could be cheaper tbh.
Great community of people living here. Great location near campus and great amenities. I would recommend anyone to live here because of those reasons.
Its been pretty good I like the location although the canes isnt that close anymore. Front office is pretty good and I like having a non-bunked bed
Amenities are good for the price of some units but if you want to live alone this place is not the place for you. There’s not a lot of nature but the location is ideal for UMN students. Maintenance time could be better.
It is a really good place to live on campus. The view from my apartment is really grate. The amenities are really elite class, and gives you a comfort of luxury living.
I've really enjoyed living here and especially like the amenities. Although expensive, it is nice to have a gym, a couple of hot tubs, in-unit laundry, a pool and security. Viva the hub.
Sometimes, I miss my packages and it is hard to find it. They don't organize the packages too fast. But, I am satisfied overally for the apartment
Really like the location and the amenities. Feel it's overpriced and the some of the room assignments aren't fair. But overall looking forward to living there next year
I would say it’s been good but I think the management could improve. I think they could be more professional at times. I also like the improvement of the package room but I would like to get notifications about packages again.
So far my experience has been fantastic. The location could not be any better and the countless amenities are the best. I have loved everything about this community so far
I love the floor to ceiling windows. The view is great. Amenities are awesome. Some people might not like the unfinished, industrial aesthetic the apartment has tho
Very nice and helpful leasing office. I am currently an incoming resident and I am super impressed with the quality of the overall building/service. The most appealing aspect is the location though. It can't be beat!
Has continued to be a good overall experience. Any issues I have are always responded to in a timely manner. The staff in the leasing office is also friendly and welcoming whenever I have questions.
Great !!! The amenities are good and the coffee machine is mostly up all the time. I really like the fact that the gym is well maintained and of a good size thus never overcrowded.
I wish the price was a little less for the rooms we are getting because even though we all pay the same price everyone has different types of room (some have the biggest or some don't even have a window) The location of the apartment is amazing, I wish I had to pay a lower price due to the kind of room I am staying in
This far the apartment is nice. It's in a great spot on Washington conviently near the light rail. My apartment specifically is a very nice one. The amenities are fun and useful as well. Overall a good place to live.
I like hun apartment. Here are several reasons for it. Nice amenities, nice apartment, study room, pool. But, the delivery system needs to be improved.
The Hub Minneapolis is located in a very convenient location at the center of East Bank Campus. The amenities are also very nice, but very often occupied.
love the location, gym, hot cocoa. and all kinds of food activities. If the printing machine can REALLY support double-side printing would be better.
The Hub has great amenities, location and security features. I also love having my own laundry in my unit so I don't have to worry about quarters.
The staff at Hub Minneapolis is helpful with any questions I have. I also really enjoy the location. It is right in Stadium Village next to all of my favorite restaurants. On top of that, the amenities are great!
Great location, amenities and apartment events the office plans on "holidays" but wish the unit sizes were a bit bigger for the price we are paying for
Love all the amenities that come with the apartment, especially the roof top hottub. The management has been nothing but helpful when needed. Love the community and the neighborhood/location
I really like this place. Conviencent location and friendly staffs are the main reason to keep me staying here. It will be nice if more events held
Location is great, maintenance comes quick in response to work order requests, and the new 24 hr access to the package room is really nice. You can tell that management cares about our experience here—they even have a security guard that sits by the front entrance late at night. I havent seen that in many other places, and its just an extra thing that makes living here more comfortable.
The facilities were really nice and everyone who helped us were really patient and helpful. The only problem is that sometimes our questions went unanswered or we were told incorrect information.
The elevator can definitely be fixed. So the door and be open and close by using the botton. Also penthouse elevator should be use for penthouse
Hub minneapolis is where I live and it is good give me points Hub minneapolis is where I live and it is good give me points Hub minneapolis is where I live and it is good give me points
Honestly, location is the only part that I like for this apartment. I don’t like the service that I got here. Main issue I think is the maintenance and packaging problem. Also broken elevator.
I really like the area and location where the hub is located because of the closeness to classes and also the amount of good food that is around here.
I like the location and facilities such as the gym, the Starbucks machine, studying lounge and so on. The Starbucks machine is always down during the night because of the lack of maintenances. I sometimes go down to get it and I can’t.
The apartment is nice, however many little issues with the business center and the other amenities, which make it hard to fully enjoy living here.
Great location, great amenities. The Hub is perfectly situated next to the light rail station, which is highly convenient. All issues fixed in a reasonable and timely manner.
I love the location of the Hub. It’s a short walk to many classes and super close to so many restaurants, coffee shops, and places to study.
I absolutely love the Hub/my apartment. Great place to live, and a great community with really awesome activities and amenities. Staff/maintenance are always there to help.
I love this complex so much, but I do think something needs to change with management. It’s very hard paying so much for an apartment and not have your things working. But love my apartment itself so much!
Conveneient for U of MN student to school. Few steps from Hub to class room is amazing. But I have to complain about the elevators which quite slow.
This has been the best apartment building I have ever lived in. The pool and living areas have made living here amazing. The only problem for me was having random roommates, they weren’t the best.
Apartment community loses points due to how some others have conducted themselves in here. This isn't applicable directly to me but to my friends who live in here.
My friends have a patio for their apartment where their neighbors next door or even the ones few floors above have tossed things onto their patio (random food and one of the items was a glass bottle, the patio is basically unusable). Considering how thin the walls are, their next doors neighbors have no problem blasting music to the point where their room shakes from the bass and would make comments similar to "these f*cking Asians are always complaining".
I've heard they would do this often into late hours like around 2:00am or 3:00am, my friends need to rest for their work early next morning and its frustrating when nothing can be done to it.
3 stars because, otherwise, I haven't experienced / heard of any major issues personally. Also, my review keeps being marked as spam?
Wei Kian L.
Great apartment and perfect location! There are some problems here and there with it being a new apartment but maintenance is well organized!
I give this apartment community a five out of five stars. The location can not get any better and the people who live here along with the staff members at the hub cannot be beat.
1. Rent for 2b2b DOUBLE here is even higher than 2b2b single in other apartment just one block away.
2. Early renewal even has NO discount.
3. We have sent FOUR maintenance requests and countless Emails for the air infiltration problem since 4 months ago, still not solved. The whole room is freezing, even we turn on the AC. The contractor has came for 2 times and promised they would come back to fix it. But they didn't. We just got another E-mail from Hub saying they will come to check the leaking wall on tomorrow morning. I hope they will fix it this time, finally. For this we have been paying higher electricity and suffering from the cold wind for months, but apartment never promise us of a reasonable compensation.（01.30 update. The contractor didn't come last week and promised to come this today, but they broke their promise again😡）
1. Location is perfect.
2. Love the gym, coffee and hot chocolate(occasionally offers)
Staying here has been great! I only wish that they would do more to help us connect with other residents and leave the hot tub open later than 10, at least on the weekends. Lastly, be more transparent about packages, the system for that is a mess.
I love the HUB. The community here is great and so welcoming and everyone here just makes the HUB feel like home. Also, the staff here are the best and most welcoming people around! Thank you HUB for being such a wonderful place to live :)
The location of the Hub is great, but from the beginning, there have been issues with the building such as the plumbing or the wifi. It is a new building so I understand that some issues may come up but I just don’t believe that I’m getting my rent’s worth.
Comfortable rooms and nice amenities but sometimes maintenance is lacking, i've witnessed puke on elevator floors for long periods of time, trash thrown off balconies and the pool deck is messy and sometimes the lobby is unclean with packaging trash. Also pool deck hours close too early in my personal opinion. But still a decent place to live.
The best thing about this place is the location. This place had a number of issues when I first moved in, but I guess I don't care as long as the hot tub is open.
I like generally living here, but there could be more management and repair for amenities, as they often break down and are broken for a while.
We have various amenities such as pool, spa, coffee machine. It is super close to east bank campus. best place for study and research. superclean
Love the unit; love the amenities; great building; it has been a slight struggle dealing with some of the kinks being ironed out, as this is a new building and management and tenants are still getting used to the new property and policy adjustments; only complaint is the parking situation (not having any guest parking, and not having a set, rapid-removal procedure for non-residents parking in leased spaces after hours)
Living at the hub has been fantastic. There have been a few times where I wish the staff was a little more present or they handeled things differently but overall fantastic experience
The beginning of the school year there were a few things that weren’t working consistently (coffee) but now they seem to be consistently working. I also enjoy the food events in the club room and the hot tub and exercise room on 7th floor. I especially like that the hot tub is open in the winter.
It’s pretty good so far. At first we had a lot of issues with things being broken in the room, but that’s to be expected in a new apartment and it was all fixed in a timely manner
Overall I have really enjoyed my time at the Hub. I love the location (it is a 5-minute walk from most of my classes) and it has been super convenient to have a gym right inside the building.
Very good. Staff there are very friendly. Whenever I come to the office to pick up my package they are so friendly. Also, the maintenance guys are so helpful as well.
Great location and amenities. The privacy and pet friendly nature of the unit is unbeatable around the area. Mailing and maintenance can use some more work, but with a building of so many residents, it is understandable.
I like the top of the line amenities and the staff is very helpful. It's walking distance from most places in the U. Also we have a metro station right in front
The walls are super thin so I can hear everything that my roommates are doing all the time. The rent is way too expensive for what I am getting.
Service is hit or miss. Some are really nice and others, not so much. Their hours are also terrible. Very inconvenient. Package system could use some work too.
The facility is well maintained! Maintenance is pretty good, office people are very Minnesota nice, residents are very diverse. Security is at a high level!
Staffs are nice, friendly and always offer help to their residents. I am so satisfied living in this property. Good location, and I really like my roommate
A reasonable place to live, some initial issues with unfinished rooms and improperly installed appliances and furniture. But the location is great, the administration is friendly and helpful!
The location/amenities are great. I would appreciate more communication about the parking garage prior to move-in and maintenance issues that affect the whole building, like power outages and how the water knobs were screwed on too tightly
Fantastic building, Fantastic staff, Fantastic rooms, Fantastic garbage shoot, Fantastic amount of parking spots, and a Fantastic Caribou just chillin' right on the corner! Plus two additional spots that can be lease to any restaurant that is ready to come in a steal all the competition. It couldn't be any better than this.
Maintenance on on-site facilities needs to improve.Otherwise, the view and apartment set-up is very nice. Spacious, clean, and fairly quite.
Generally good. But sometimes bad. So, Building need to be improved gernal systems and other things are good.
More you need to do for resident
Management needs some work. But the location of this building is so significant of a factor to me I’m willing to overlook the other downfalls.
Pro: The view outside is pretty good! The location is good. Only 2-5mins, I can get my classroom.
Con: Bedroom is a little cold, maybe because of the French windows.
I am having a great time living here because it is very close to campus so I don’t have to wake up too early for classes. The staff here are also very supportive and knowledgeable about floor plans. However, I don’t like that the ceiling in my room is not covered and I feel like the wall not thick enough because I can hear noise when I went to sleep and that is very distracted.
I really like it here. The staffs are very nice, the environment is great. My room is a little bit small but I can live with it. The building is right next to east bank station
Everybody is pleasant and courteous. Students mostly, everybody is busy doing their thing, sometimes elevators get really busy. Nice to see pets .
Most of my experience has been great. When I had a trouble with my room the maintenance request was quick. I have found packages sometimes hard to pick up but I believe a new system is going to be put into place soon. I think hours for some amenities should be adjusted. I like the special free food events Hub sometimes has.
It was so much fun so far. i love the Hub Minneapolis because the people are friendly and the staff is amazing. Living in the Hub was the best decision of my life.
I really like it here for the most part. I would say that the rooms are a little smaller than I thought but not too bad. Additionally I wish that the pool/hot tub was open later than 10pm as I like using it before bed. The staff are usually super helpful and friendly.
A really friendly staff. They are always happy to help you out on any questions you have. The property is brand new so they have a few hiccups but overall it’s a great place.
Overall the experience of living at the Hub is decent. However it is nowhere near worth the price they offer. $850+ per month is no worth a small bedroom (relative to almost all other apartments/rental houses) a mediocre bathroom, a moderate kitchen and a living room stocked with terrible and uncomfortable furniture. Also $250 per for a parking spot in the garage is absolutely ludicrous.
New apartment, but loud residents that blast music past 3am! Nice amenities such as the gym and the pool! Slow elevator that breaks down a little too often...
Great new apartment building. Polite staff. Easy to get to classes on campus. I feel safe and comfortable. The majority of the place is very clean and smells clean. Sometimes neighbors can be a little noisy.
Student friendly and easy going place. Good facilities and equipment. Decent parking space with extra storage facilities. Walking distance from good restaurants and pubs.
Poor maintenance, poor laundry, and poor built building..However, location is great! It is right beside an east bank station. I don't really end up missing class because I live very close.
I love living here! Perfect location and I love the amenities! There have been a few hiccups with heat and water but other than that everything is great.
Entire color scheme of appartment is dull, walls and ceiling have not even been painted with the measurements from the construction process clearly visible.
There were lots of problems with move in and while they were sorted out eventually it took too long and shouldn’t have happened in the first place.
For the the hot tub and common room on the 7th floor to close at 10 pm is too early. I understand if the hot tub has to close for security reasons but why the common room? Also if I want to grab a coffee from common room before my 8am class I can’t because it’s locked for no reason whatsoever
It's honestly great with location being so convenient. I just hope the rooms were a little bigger and the ceilings were complete of the apartments.
I love living at the hub! I do wish that the Starbucks machine worked consistently though. I also wish that parking was cheaper. If parking was significantly cheaper, I would consider resigning.
Please improve the air condition, which is so hard to use, and consuming a huge amount of power and money. Another thing is the speed to solve the problem, please speed up. The other things are almost good.
perfect location, nice staff, new furniture, a little slow maintainence, secure building, great views, parking garage, trash chute on every floor.
Excited! ru guo wo men de tie qi ji xu qian jin, zhe ge tang bi dang che de dai tu,nan dao shi neng gou zu dang de liao de ma? President Jiang Zemin.
Too favoritized by ppl so that could be kinda downside
Somewhat expensive fees yet affordable due to various options available
Very nice location which is mainly the reason why i have chosen hub as my new apartment for this year. Also i love the fact that it has caribou down stairs
A very nice neighborhood with nice people and good amenities. The sepcial events that are occasionally held are also very nice and offer you and opportunity to try new things.
Community is good . Rooms could be definitely better designed. The public area like hot tub and the common room should be open till late -1:00 AM .
The location, staff, room layouts, amenities are all great. I understand that fees are in place to keep the residents enjoy living here comfortably. However, closing the common areas doesn’t make sense to me. If the purpose is to eliminate loud noises by closing these locations, it’s not doing anything. Regardless, noisy people will continue being noisy. Whether if it’s in a common area, the lobby, the hallways, elevator lobbies, or their own rooms. I don’t see how closing common areas help residents.
We have security that are told to roam these areas throughout the night routinely - noisy people in common areas would be dealt with if they were doing their jobs.
Also, many people who live here would benefit greatly if the common areas were open so they could get away from their distracting roommates and find a different place to study. We only have 4 study rooms which is not enough.
Point is, closing common areas after a certain time doesn’t do anything. People will still be loud in their rooms if we are restricted to rooms after 10PM.
Elevators are so slow but the amenities like the pool, free coffee, and study rooms are so really nice. The showers are great too, although I don’t like how there’s a fan always running in the bathroom.
Hub is fully furnished which is the best part for me. I do not need to buy anything from scratch. Also, the location is the best for student of UMN.
Great location, but I still haven't gotten a fix for my bathroom door or the oven drawer... Also, y'all keep texting me about a package I already picked up...
I like hub for its convenient location and great services from office. In addition, the nice equipment in community is also good for me. You can also make many friends here.
I really enjoy the location of the building! It is very close to all of my classes and close to restaurants and places to get food. There is always something to do
Location, location, and location !!! Nice and friendly staff and great neighborhood. Most of the goto places are close by. The best looking apartments!
This is supposed to be luxurious apartment, but they are definitely not as good as in the commercial; And the management team doesn't do their job until you push them. In general, it is just okay to me.
The building is nice but it is clear it some things were glossed over. No hand towel rack in bathroom. Shoddy electrical wiring in kitchen. Couches are uncomfortable. Poor styling on entertainment deck.
The apartment itself is perfect for my living situations. It has all the necessarry things that I need. The complex as a whole has more than enough extras, including, pool, gym, and lounge. The location is perfect. All my classes are on West Bank, so I just go downstairs and take the metro right to West Bank.
Staff is nice and helpful. The pool is nice but definitely should extend hours to after 10pm. There are not enough perks and the coffee machine never works which is super annoying. There should be a coffee subsitute
Airconditioner needs to be more efficient and flexible so that each bedroom can adjust their own temperature.
Also, my door won't shut... There is some problem with the hinge...
But I think the office does a good job in responding to our problems and complaints！Good job！
It was a good experience so far. However, I wish we had extension in the time we can use the hot tub and swimming pool over 9 pm. I wish we could use it at any time we want to.
Great place, great location! Everything is good so far! Excellent amenities & staff. The view is amazing!!! The Hub is a great place to live!
Rooms are smaller than expected, but I’ve gotten used to it and it’s comfortable. Had a few maintenance issues that took awhile to be resolved but it’s understandable being that it’s a new building with many residents, it’s bound to have a few issues to start.
It’s been a rough start. Definitely pay too much for what we have. Location is perfect for students and that’s pretty much why we live here.
Brand new apartment, everything looks fancy (location, view, facilities...), but some services need to be improved (notification for package pick up needs to be accelerated, maintainess is also slow...)
The package system is awful, we never get a delivered package in the same day! Sometimes it takes more than 24 hours to process. Please fix it!
Nice Location! There's a lot of problem in the start but the management handle it so well! You will love to live here especially if you are a student in the U.
Kitchen and bathrooms are really nice! Have a nice view of the stadium and can get almost everywhere I need to go in 10 min. People are really friendly too!
It is so great living in the Hub apartment building. The walk to class is extremely convenient, and I imagine I will appreciate it even more in the winter.
I have liked living at the hub so far from the short time I have lived here. It is a little tight on space sometimes but I expected that coming in. My favorite part is how close it is to campus.
The hub is a nice place to live, given all the amenities it gives to the residences. The pool area and lounges are two of my favorites. I also enjoy the view from my room.
I am pretty frustrated with a lot of this building. For example, I wish there was someone sitting at the front desk who could let my guests into the building. In my other apartments, I did not need to go downstairs to let people in...it's pretty annoying and when I signed the lease I was told that I could let people in from my apartment.
so far so good, except the always broken coffee machine at community room! Micro Studios are cozy, building amenities are good, and management/CA are nice
Great place and people! Super helpful staff and love the pool/jacuzzi! Longer open hours for pool and jacuzzi and outside area would be great and a working coffee machine ;)
Great living space, but as with any new building there are somethings I wish would be different/better. Management doesn't always seem to to be that knowledgeable on questions about their own policies.
I wish the Hot tub would stay open later during the week, or weekends. Possibly just an extra hour longer would be really nice. Overall very good experience though.
Its a perfect place to stay.... ! Beautiful views and gym! However the management system is not that fast. I highly rexommend to people come here to live
I like living here. The amenities are very nice, especially the gym, and there are really nice views from the apartments. It sometimes gets a little noisy and there aren't enough elevators but overall its a good experience.
I like the apartment, but I don't like how the washing machine and the dryer is in a corner without a door so it gets really loud when they're on.
I’ve loved living here. Feels like a home to me already. That said, it would be nice to have had maintenance come, which I haven’t seen once so far.
I feel like this is a great community because the employees are so helpful, and the people are so nice. I also feel like the amenities are great
Rude staff, no hot water, disorganized and low room quality. I have put in multiple complaints about my room fixtures and have been trying to get hot water for the past month.
I didn't have hot water, until water later. The pool side is way too loud. Sometimes when I try to study, there is a loud party outside, that I think should not be happening.
The apartment complex has been amazing so far. The location is great and the community is friendly. Staff is attentive and kind. Their events so far have been relevant to being a college student here on the UMN campus.
It is a clean place, there is no noise to bother you, the apartments are very organized and the view is amazing. Very convenient for students.
I like Hub. This is a new apartment so I decided to move here. Hub is the highest apartment near the campus. Everything is good. Each room has big windows and the view is wonderful.
Overall it has been decent so far, besides the huge parties that were thrown on the pool deck closing it all down. Maintenance guy came once but only fixed hot water, not the ice machine which hasn’t worked since we got here or our window shades which haven’t worked either
Wonderful place! Enjoined every single moment here. The only issue is that most of the amenities are closed after 10 pm and you’ll be charged if you used them. Another thing is that you only allowed to have 2 guests.. if more you will pay $100 for each one!
It has been pretty smooth so far, only bad thing I have to say is maintenance requests take a long time and my units AC hasn’t been working properly since we moved in and my room leaks when it rains, otherwise it is swell
Not worth the rent... Move-in day was atrocious. Staff don’t help out when they see residents struggling (this is ongoing). Water heater went out. Elevators went out a million times. Friend/Roomates parking spot kept getting screwed up, so we went to fix it, and one staff called my roommate frustrating. That’s just a few of the complaints.
It’s been great! The management has been very helpful and responsive, and they’ve helped address any issues my roommates and I have faced. Overall, it’s been a great experience
It’s an amazing place to live . It has the best location on campus . It’s extremely close to the light rail which is super convenient . The amenities are gorgeous and a good time to use . The rooms are beautiful and spacious!
- Trouble getting maintenance requests
- Can be loud on weekends due to drunk non-residents throwing parties in the shared spaces
- Can take a while for deliveries to be registered in the system
- Electronic payment system costs money
- Building kind of cheaply built
- New building
- Pet friendly
- Privacy/Type of unit
The Hub has the best of the best location among all other properties on campus area, that’s the by far the most attractive selling point to attract people to live
Great place to live and location is the best you can get! Just a bit overpriced and the furniture is on the cheap end. Also half the amenities are currently broken.
The price is decent, the staff members are friendly and the amenities are great. However, the maintenance requests were responded extremely slowly. My bedroom door fell down of the frame and no one has ever come to fix it since I submitted the request three weeks ago.
Good apartment and furnishings. Also, great front desk who is always willing to help. The only problems are lack of management of the coffee machine and printer.
Decent so far. I enjoyed the location very much. It’s conveniently located at a prime spot that’s very close to all of my classes and the train station.
Location, amenities and unit are top notch. The office assistants are moody and seem like they don’t have any idea what’s going on. The maintenance guy was extremely kind though!! He came in to fix our hot water and he was cheerful and easy to talk to. It was comforting to know someone who worked here actually valued me as a person.
Although there were some tiny problems in the beginning, I like here very much! Still have room for improvement. There is some delay for the report on management.
We have had many issues with our unit that have taken many days to fix. We had no AC for a week and could barely sleep, our window is broken, my bedroom door is broken, and our laundry room door is broken.
All the things are great except these: Bathwater is not hot enough even if you switch to the hottest side. It seems like the tap has something wrong since you can only switch it in half side. However, the tap of hand washing sink and kitchen is normal. The fan in bathroom cannot be closed. The stove top is slow to heat something. The laundry takes too much time to wash for one time(around 1-1.5h). Picking a package is slow.
It’s been a great place to live so far. Amenities are well kept and plentiful. The place is always clean and the lounges are a fun place to hang out. Would highly recommend!
I expected better, but it hasn't been terrible. I think the view from my apartment is awesome and the fact that I got parking rocks. The reason why I didn't rate 5 stars is because my neighbors smoke very frequently, which causes the hallway to smell really bad, and the hot tubs are not open 24 hours a day.
I’ve loved the location of the hub, as well as the events and amenities put on so far. My only complaint is how long maintenance gets back to you...it’s been 2 weeks since I submitted a request!
I really enjoy the HUB and the community it provides students. I think the biggest community builder here is the pool and hot tub, and it is a very fun way of getting to know the people who live in this community.
The hub Minneapolis has a really good location since the east bank station is right near the apartment. Also the apartment is new and fashion which is I like, but there are still things like services and amenities should be improved!
It has been a great place so far. The coffee machine does not always have coffees though. Hopefully, they can refill that as soon as possible.
IT HAS BEEN GOOD BUT AN APARTMENT IN MY FLOOR HAS BEEN HAVING CONSTANT PARTIES WITH LOUD MUSIC AND PEOPLE THAT BOTHER AT 3 AM. THIS BOTHERS ME.
Great location and community. Considering the location and the amenities included in the apartment, the rates are not as high as they could have been when compared to other apartments.
Love the free coffee. The sky lounge is exquisite and offers a great place to relax and hangout. The pool table and decorations really bring the room together.
Super fun vibe and atmosphere. Place is amazing, beautiful amenities and features. Customer service (through email) decent. Looking forward to moving in.
I haven’t moved in yet, but the help I’ve gotten from Paige has all been excellent. She’s quick to respond and is knowledgeable in what she does. And she’s nice! You don’t find all three of those qualities at other places.
Excited to move in soon at Hub Minneapolis! Quite exciting times, indeed. Great location, great design, great people. Amenities are always appreciated.
The people working at the leasing office are so approachable and it was a very great experience signing my lease with them. They are informative and detailed when it came to any concerns I had!
The Hub was very accommodating to my needs and were able to help my roommate and I find a spot that works best for us. Great people up at the leasing office.
Obviously I haven’t moved in yet but everyone who works here has been so helpful and friendly it’s super refreshing! I can’t wait to move in in August!
The Hub office staff were really nice and actually knowledgeable about leasing info when I went to talk to them. The Hub feels like it wants to attract you by offering better amenities and service and will follow through. The amenities look so good.
My experience at the hub was nothing but exceptional the staff were and have been nothing but beyond prompt and courteous I could not and flat out have nothing in regards towards changing anything
Brass Monkey, that funky Monkey

That funky Monkey

Drink Brass Monkey here's how you feel
Put your left leg down your right leg up
Tilt your head back let's finish the cup
awesome service from office, and then I got the rewards amount to roughly $400. So, I really want to anticipate to live in this apartment with my roommates.
Soo Young C.
When I went to the office for consultation, they were very kind. I was grateful for their kindness and received a lot of help. And I am looking forward to living there!!!
So far the apartment community has been exceptional. From signing the lease at the leasing office to getting help on the community rewards cite it all has exceeded expectations to what i'd expect from an apartment like this.
Leasing office staff was very nice and friendly. Look forward to enjoying exercise center and pool/hot tub. I also enjoy that the location is perfect for anyone going to the U of MN
Even though it's not open quite yet, The leasing experience has been amazing!!! everyone is exceptional in helping with the leasing process.
The staff were all so helpful and it made it so easy to sign! I love the style of the hub! The apartment is so modern and chic! Definitely my style!
Everyone was super friendly and provided help when needed. Great community. Continued communications with me after I had expressed interest in the apartments.
Very good service. Highly recommended. Looking forward to living here. Highly good staff and service. Easy lease. Can't wait to live here!!!!
I currently have very little information to pass along as the building is still under construction, but everything I hear sounds exciting and should be really cool.
Collin Sieffert S.
My experiences at the hub thus far have been nothing short of amazing every single person that works there always has greeted me with a smile and has had more than enough energy that it just puts you in a positive mood they are beyond helpfu and will try and do everything and anything they are able to within their power to help you get an apartment in the best apartment building on this campus
Very quick lease signing. Excellent service. Appreciated the help. Very minimum effort. Not complicated. Would recommend to people. Thumbs up!
